Privacy policy

This policy explains what the GynaePulse app and website (operated by ExeCode, Pakistan) collect, why, and your choices. Contact us at support@gynaepulse.com.

Using the app without an account

All reference content, calculators and your study progress are stored only on your phone. We do not collect personal data, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics. The app contacts our server to check for content updates; like any web request this reveals your IP address, which we keep only in short-lived server logs.

If you create an account

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash).
  • Device sessions: the device model name, sign-in time, last use, IP address and app version, so you can stay signed in and we can limit sharing to a small number of devices.
  • Study progress backup: your question scores, logbook counts, syllabus ticks and exam date, so they appear on your other devices.
  • Subscription status: if you buy Premium, Google Play processes the payment. We receive the purchase token, order number, plan and renewal dates from Google to unlock Premium. We never see your card or payment details.

We use this information only to provide the app, keep accounts secure, support you, and send service emails such as password resets. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

Our server and database run on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai (India) region. Emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Daily encrypted backups are kept for up to 30 days.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account until you delete it. You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete my account) or on the account deletion page. This permanently removes your account, sessions and progress; copies disappear from backups within 30 days. Records of purchases may be kept where the law requires. Cancel any Google Play subscription separately in Google Play.

Children

The app is for healthcare professionals and students and is not directed at children under 16.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it or delete it by emailing support@gynaepulse.com.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
